kids playing on the tires

working to level the new playground area

Yesterday started with a good breakfast of pancakes and ham and a ride to the worksite. The kids were in school today so it was a whole different scene.  They were on holiday on Friday when we were there.  We worked hard at hauling fill with Dave and Brad running a string line to try and get the playground level.  We work about 50 minutes and then take a break.  It is hot and heavy work but no one complains.  Earl brought lunch up about 12:45 and as we were eating a monster rain came through and we were done work for the day.  After we got back home, the boys went back down to play basketball and the rest of us showered and relaxed.

We are off to a new project today.  We are going to Boro Bridge where we worshipped on Sunday.  One group will be installing a fence between the school and a cemetery and the other groups will be painting the bath room addition. We will be there  one or two days.
